Well put. I've see a certain amount of work done in KiCad and I'm impressed. I've used it to an extent coming from a bit of dabbling in commercial product and I have to say KiCad meets and exceeds my needs & expectations.

You will likely find that KiCad is very good, but like all apps,it has its little quirks.

The KiCad team is conducting a survey of users to get more information about how people use KiCad and other design tools, and what they like and dislike about it. This survey should only take a few minutes to complete.

Fill out the survey here:

This survey will remain open until approximately May 2024.

Thank you in advance for your feedback!

Thank you Sir,
Did not realize PWR_FLAG is actually a Component in Library :-)
Did the trick, worked well, removed all errors

Re: Electrical Rules Check Help

The answer is simple. Connect each power and gnd port to a PWR_FLAG symbol: Errors will disappear.

Circuit Simulation runs, fine, no issues, but when I do Design Rules Check, it comes back with as indicated Errors!

Can someone comment - Attached is the Snap and is embedded as well for ease.

I certainly know four or five, and I suspect none/few are on this forum.

There are probably a lot more users of this than we realize.
Results will be presented on the blog sometime this spring after the survey closes.
I'll look for them.

I'm tempted to say 'Kick it', but it wouldn't be helpful.

Any suggestions ?

Re: 2024 KiCad user survey

I like KiCad and appreciate all the work (that I couldn't do!) that goes into it. I filled out the survey and I hope it helps the developers and goes a small way to influencing the future work on the software.

Why not just fill the survey out and accept what was said above about a summary of the results.

Can you post a link to the results here so we can read it?

Re: 2024 KiCad user survey

We will publish some kind of summary of the results on the blog after we close the survey and process the results.
