Re: Import Spice schematic
I'm still using V 6 as I've been out of action with a long stay in
hospital so I've not upgraded for quite a while. The basic problem is that I don't know my left from right :-) 4th Icon from the right on my pretty much default setup. I've sent this directly to you as well just in case the attachment does not work on the list Andy On Mon, 13 May 2024 11:30:36 +0100 "John Woodgate" <jmw@...> wrote: Sorry to be persistent, Andy, but I am using version 8.0.2 and I can't |
Re: Import Spice schematic
开云体育Sorry to be persistent, Andy, but I am using version 8.0.2 and I can't find that icon on the Schematic toolbar. It goes Save, Schematic set-up, Page settings, Print, Plot, Paste... I think that the BOM formatting may be
editable in 8.0.2, but I will look at that later. On 2024-05-13 10:22, Andy wrote:

BOM is not something I use that much, I've usually got all the data already assembled in a spreadsheet. Re: Import Spice schematic
开云体育Hey, the dots have suddenly appeared. But
also, some spurious short wires have appeared, coming from dots
and going nowhere. The imported symbols are smaller than the
native KiCad symbols and the capacitors don't have thick plates. On 2024-05-12 21:40, John Woodgate

开云体育Can version 8.02 import a Spice schematic,
specifically an LTspice schematic? --

PCB reflection
开云体育I found that if I 'select all', the rotation
triangles on the toolbar work correctly, but the mirror
triangles do not reflect the tracks. I can't believe that is
intentional. --

Re: Newbie question!
Hi Eugene, There are two ways to move symbols. Using the Move command (shortcut 'M'), the symbol is moved without maintaining the wired connections. Using the Drag command (shortcut 'D'), connected wires are dragged along with the symbol. Either command is also accessible by right-clicking on the symbol.
