Thanks, Tony. I actually discovered the way, but I'm stuck on the PCB-way site at the Order Review page, and I've contacted the sales person for help.

When the add-in is installed, a new button appears in the toolbar in pcbnew. When you press that button, it produces the Gerbers and Excellon files, zips them up and uploads the zip to PCBWay and opens your browser at the quote page.

You probably don't have to plot anything yourself.
