Re: Copying geometry from one board to another


 

Look at the properties of the connectors on board that you have laid out.
That will tell you the x and y values.

Use those values to position the connectors on the other board, (just
enter them into the properties.

(It may be easier to shift the second board well away from the grid
origin, then position the two connector. Then you can move the board back
again. )

Make sure that the zero point of each connector footprint is in the
same place.

Other methods, use the move command, that has a couple of relative move
options, so you can place a footprint at a specified distance, which may
be more convenient.

Another method, make sure that you use the same grid for each board and
that that it aligns up. Then you can simply place the footprints on the
grid.
