Many users receive yahoo group messages via e-mail, so attachments are
frowned upon as that make the downloads large. This goes back to the days
when phone charges for dial-up were expensive and so on. However there is
no reason to bung up email with attachments that not everyone will be
interested in even with the improvements to speed and so on.

To help overcome this, yahoo groups has a setting that most groups use,
which is that any attachments are stripped off of the email and placed
in a folder for the person sending the attachment.

You can find this folder from the files menu under the attachments sub
menu.

Use the web interface to see this.

It looks like that yahoo detected something as an attachment, as it's
created a folder, but there is nothing in it. So either the attachment
was dud or yahoo got confused (most likely)

(The system has worked well enough in the past)
Thanks for the info. I'll use dropbox links in the future, as that seems pretty reliable.
