GB2RS @ Bletchley Park, England UK

As I mentioned on the Sunday 20 M net, I will be at the Bletchley Park home of the "Code Breakers" during WWII in England the first week in October. The people there in the 1940's broke the codes of the German military and the entire location of the original facilities is a tourist attraction. Bletchley Park is about 1 hour by train from Central London. My wife, our niece, and her husband will there Thursday October 3. I met a ham at the RSGB booth at Hamvention in Xenia (Dayton) this year, who also volunteers at the Bletchley Park amateur radio station GB2RS which is part of the tour.?

I have already discussed with him regarding operation of the station, which they allow for properly licensed amateurs of the world. He mentioned that normally the signals from the USA would be the best later in their afternoon, and the bands of 10,15 and 20 meters would be the best propagation. RSGB has W1AW type station at the site. They have a tower with a beam and operate in the UK assigned frequencies but there is overlap with USA frequencies which I will be using. I will verify all of this information and send another message linked to this message with more details when I get to England, and also the day of the visit. FYI, London is on daylight time, however, I provide all times in UTC along with the frequency plan for operation. I will try to do SSB, CW and FT8 if possible, so there could at least 3 frequencies on a band, but we will see what happens. There may be other amateurs that will want to operate the station from other countries or even the UK, so we will need to work together. They have several rigs, so hopefully I can use one that you can hear in your location.
?
Look for more details early next week.
