Re: Winkeyer USB Issues
The buttons on top only work in standalone mode, not when connected to N3FJP. Try testing the keyer with WK3demo, that will help you figure out if it¡¯s the keyer or the application l. Steve K1EL

Re: K46 - first impressions
WinKeyer is really the only way to go with N1MM and DXLabs WinWarbler module. WinWarbler also supports MFJ 464 but few have that and IN1MM does not support it so go with WinKeyer. Outlook LT Gil

Re: K46 - first impressions
So that probably explains it. He has been better off than we have, and has been able to simply have N3FJP do the keying. That hasn¡¯t worked for us. It was close, but just not right. Windows

N3FJP has never been jerky on CW for me on numerous computers Gordon. We're stating the contest in a few minutes, too soon to help you further. Sorry. 73, Bill Mader, K8TE ARRL New Mexico Section

?Hey Bill, can you tell me how to do that, cause the KEYER inside the icom 7300 to send the other call sign and follow with an exchange? When I studied how to use N3FJP , couldn¡¯t figure out how

Re: K46 - first impressions
Obviously, neither of you is familiar with either N1MM+ or N3FJP's serious of contest programs.? Read the documentation for both before answering questions.? Use them before criticizing them. N1MM+

Re: K46 - first impressions
You can use N3FJP directly to an icom 7300 in either of two ways¡ª neither of which is satisfactory in my opinion A) you can have N3 FJP insert call signs and other information as needed to create

Re: K46 - first impressions
I am sure the documentation would have the data. As a guess, I would think the interface would be the same or very close to the WinKeyer, at least for keying. N1MM and WinWarbler , especially N1MM,

Re: WKUSB-AF PC sidetone connection
Yes, my TS590-SG has sidetone that is fully adjustable in the menu and sounds like a pure sine wave to me. IMHO the sidetone on WinKeyer is usable only as a diagnostic aid. That does not mean I

Re: K46 - first impressions
Gilbert, Someone else will have to answer about interconections to contest/logging programs. I will use my K46 (like I did my K45) as a stand-alone unit in the field - have no idea how it performs

Re: WKUSB-AF PC sidetone connection
WKUSB-AF has a sine wave sidetone output that can be fed into the line input of a sound card. The level can be adjusted by a volume control on the front panel. Steve K1EL

Re: WKUSB-AF PC sidetone connection
1. Does a connection to a PC mic input require any isolation? 2. What about attenuation? There is no sidetone output, at least on my WKUSB3, but it's fairly easy to bring out a cable from the little
