Undocumented parameters in WinKeyer 3 Tools Utility 5.3
As new WinKeyer USB (EU version by Kanga Products) user, I found 3 items in the "Keyer Configuration" section which are not documented in the WK3Tools Operation Guide Rev 1.0 (March 27,2017):

Re: Stop a message during transmission
To be clear.... if you running in WK standalone mode, not connected to a
host application... which is not what you said... you press either paddle
to end the message.

Re: Stop a message during transmission
That’s what I would like to do as well but the ESC key nor the DEL key will correct my problem. Neither will all the ferrite cores available. I too run ACLog and my set up sounds similar to yours

Re: Stop a message during transmission
From N3FJP's website: "To stop sending CW, from the main form, press Esc."
Furthermore, I primarily chase DX, often in pileups.? I have Function key F1 programmed with my call.? F2 is "TU5NN.? If

Re: Stop a message during transmission
Be careful of using the ESC. I was basically called a dumb a*s for using it and I should use the DEL key instead.

Re: Stop a message during transmission
I thought I was clear.? You are the "application" developer.? Forget that the keyer is connected to a computer.? I press a button on the keyer.? It starts transmitting a message.? During that

Stop a message during transmission
I usually use my Winkeyer USB with N3FJP ACL control, but this requires ACL to have focus.? I have similar messages in the keyer itself and can of course send them with the buttons. When using full

Re: Winkeyer USB PTT problem
OK - problem solved.? I built a relay driver using a MPSA92 transistor (PNP).? It saturates at a base current of 3 ma. so that's all the Winkeyer has to key (at 13.8VDC).? No sign of failure with a

Re: Winkeyer USB PTT problem
The SSRs in WKUSB are rated at 120 mA max, that could be the issue right there. You could verify with a milliampere meter. I suppose you could employ a driver stage with a more robust transistor. Be

Re: Winkeyer USB PTT problem
It's a Totsu CX800, 160 ma., 12V.? No idea about the minimum current and voltage to keep it closed.? What's the max on current and voltage for the Winkeyer?
