Some sad news via a social media post; Christopher Tipton, KB7GYU, passed away Tuesday, January 2nd. His sister, Shirley KC7FEU, would undoubtedly be comforted to hear from her fellow hams, both on the air and via telephone. Chris could always be heard on the Hamaker 85 repeater requesting access to "Docking Bay 2" when headed to the back door after returning home from work or from a grocery run. We are so sorry for your terrible loss, Shirley!
