I tried using Tsunami gas turbine and it seems to change things, however on a run track the locomotive just makes an engine noise and does not respond to throttle nor F0 to turn on the lights.

It seems the locomotive only uses short addresses so it is now 37 and either gas turbine or dual 645 (all I have tried) do about the same - lights turn on and off and the locomotive moves. bell rings horn toots.

SO the problem was more that it cannot do long addresses ...

If anyone actually knows a real answer Please post it
