Locked connect JMRI to Standalone Loconet via Bluetooth #bluetooth

tl;dr: What is the configuration of JMRI to connect to a Standalone Loconet via for BT Locobridge and the only contain ComandStations.

Hi, I got a standalone Loconet with products from mollehem.se ¨C?that works fine.

As I bought the Products, I could configure them via JMRI and the Bluetooth interface. It was a bit tricky to get it running. I tried all Comand-Stations ¨C they disconnect the BT-connection to the Interface on start of PanelPro.
But after some trail and error it worked with a connection over a 'LocoNet LocoBuffer'. I saw logs in the log, could configure and control via JMRI.

The Problem is, after that single success I never got it running since then and tried several configurations over the time ¨C No success.

As far as I remember, the Settings have been:
System Manufacturer: Digitrax
System Conection: 'LocoNet LocoBuffer' or 'LocoNet LocoBuffer II'
Serial port: cu.LBridge582
Command station type: Stand-alone LocoNet

I would expect that 'Monitor LocoNet' shows logs when something is happening within Loconet. But wen the connection looks fine, it stays blank (and nothing else works).

MySetup:
JMRI: 5.8
Java: 17.0.11
MacOS: 12.7.5

Is there a recommended configuration to connect via the Bluetooth Interface to a standalone loconet reliable?

Hej

Full setup:

1) First pair the computer with the BT-interface using the normal Bluetooth tools for the computer.

2) In JMRI, create a new "Connection":
??? System manufacturer: Digitrax
??? System connection: BT Locobridge

?? Then in "Settings: Bluetooth adapter",? you can select the adapter name from 1).
?? It doesn't matter what you select in "Settings: Command station type".

Thanks for this information and your help. It took me a while to debug this in my free time.

But it didn't solve the problem.

In some situations the Bluetooth-Connection got disconnected ¨C that is increasing over time (weeks/months) and is now at a point where is stops working when JMRI is switching from the small loading-screen to the actual UI. Here a video of this behavior after removing all the JMRI-Settings on the Computer: I added the session.log for a disconnect on this computer.

Just to ensure it's not a problem with the Computer. I tested this on other Macs. One has the same behavior. A other cant connect to the device permanently. It connects, but the blue LED never stops flashing and then it disconnects ¨C?without me doing anything ¨C?on this computer there is some Java installed, but no JMRI. Here a short Video:

Also I tried to connect to a RaspberryPI or an iPhone ¨C?but both cant find the Bluetooth Device. Is that the normal behavior?
