I keep hoping that one of the JMRI developers who know how to do the web/phone stuff to give the portable version of conductor all the features of the screen version. While I think the current version would let the conductor ‘move’ the train, it has no edit feature to account for adding or removing cars from the manifest. The idea is being able to manage not having the right cars as either not found or finding what wasn’t supposed to be there. This also would be the last step in a paperless switch list system.
