Larry,
My Sprog doesn't reliably read QSI decoders.
I normally use POM for programming QSI decoders.
I've found that a Digitrax DCS100 with a programming track booster, or a Digitrax PR4 configured as a stand-alone programmer will read QSI decoders. I'll use one of these choices if I'm helping somebody with a QSI decoder that has CV settings they don't want to lose.
FWIW - QSI Solutions went out of business; QSI remains in business.
HTH - YMMV,
Ross

[email protected]Subject: [jmriusers] Question about QSI decoders
Hi everybody, for many years I have had several locomotives that were equipped with QSI decoders. Recently I needed to reset one of them and Decoder Pro didn¡¯t seem to recognize them as QSI. I ended up doing it on a generic CV configuration. Yesterday, it happened again with a different locomotive. My programming track is powered with a sprog.
I¡¯m pretty sure that QSI went out of business. So do y¡¯all know if this is something? I¡¯m just gonna have to deal with now?
