I've just discovered the "transparency" option for filled turnout
circles and it seems to fit my needs perfectly
Except, when I set a particular transparency, it seems to work fine for
the current JMRI session
BUT after a restart of JMRI, I have lost my transparency
And yes, I DID save the changes before I restarted
Is it possible that this is not externalised to the panel file??? I can
see where the circle COLOURS are defined as well as whether the circles
are filled or not (they are) - but no mention of transparency
