Locked Re: Programming an Automated Train #dispatcher

Dispatcher supports signal heads with SSL, signal masts with SML or None.

For signal heads with SSL, you must have direction sensors defined in the sections and added to the SSL. ?The easy way to update the SSL is to use the "Tools -> Set Direction Sensors in SSL" menu item. ?Make sure that you have resolved all issues as shown in the JMRI system console.

This is in a way a continuation of my previous thread "Programming Automated Trains", but it is a new question.
?
I am trying to get my first train to run, but can't set it up.? It will run a train forward from one staging block to the next.? Only two Sections involved, no turnout involved, either.
When I fill out the New Train form, and click Create, it says there is missing direction information in two places in the Signal Logic.? I have checked the Signal Logic for the signal between the two Sections and the Signal at the end of the Destination Section.? I can't find any reference to direction when I open Set Logic.
?
I fear the answer to this, but I have used SSL to set Signal Heads throughout my? Panels.? Is Dispatcher dependent on Signal Mast Logic?
