Locked Re: PanelPro - Extracting turnouts & routes??

Phil,

Use a xml aware editor and copy the routes element and its content. ?If you are using Windows, I recommend NotePad++.
This is a view using NotePad++ on Windows. ?After loading the xml file, the "View -> Fold Level" menu is used with level 2 selected.

To get the contents, click on the beginning of the "routes" line and drag down one line. ?That way the whole element and its content is selected. ?Now it can be copied.

Subject: [jmriusers] PanelPro - Extracting turnouts & routes??
Date: Sunday, October 20, 2024 4:05 PM

I'm refining my layout based on an AnyRail plan, and creating various?
routes based on the defined turnouts

BUT

If I further refine the layout such that the track plan changes, I'll?
need to re-export to create a new panel - and this new panel file whilst?
including all the same turnouts obviously won't contain the routes that?
I defined

Is there a way (or a script perhaps) to copy ROUTES from one panel file?
to another??

Otherwise I have to create all the routes again (and there are a LOT)

Thanks

Phil G
