Short of it .. I have tried to set up the Camera Web Throttle, using the process shown? but with my own web cam (shows whole layout instead of a "cab view" )? but something has gone wrong, and IDK how to troubleshoot it.?
I have 2 computers set up--? Both are running Debian Stable release.
Computer 192.168.74.5 - which is running JMRI as well as the webcam?(via VNC streaming option)?
Computer 192.168.74.7 - using the browser/web throttle?to test webcam/control trains/etc.
On 192.168.74.5? I have JMRI running version?5.6 -- and I believe the "Memory Variables" set up correctly (see screenshot).? I do have two similar entries in there (4859 and PRR_4859 -- this is because I was not sure if I should be using the DCC address, or the ID. )? ?The value listed is what I tested as working fine for the stream on the other computer? (seen in other screenshot, in the xterm window/lower right)??
Using VNC on the 74.7, and can verify that the streaming camera is working (see right side of screenshot).? ?But in the Web Throttle, it only shows the "broken image" icon and no video.? FWIW, the throttle works fine - I can control the train via the web throttle,? I just don't have the expected video.??
I did try a few different options in the Memory Variables table (as seen in screenshot) I have also tried restarting JMRI a few times / in between?changes.? Still no video footage.
IDK what I have wrong/why the broken image is showing up in the browser window -- and I also don't know where else to look to troubleshoot.? ?Any assistance would be appreciated.
