If you need to temporarily reserve it use stop allocation sensors in the transits so trains will not allocate that section until you release the sensors.

Another way, no so pretty.
Make the block sensor internal.
It regular use use logix to reflect the actual sensor to internal.
When running the script disconnect that logix and force the internal sensor active.
