Thanks Leo,
I'm looking for that sort of flexibility that warrants seem to offer.?
When you say "if the signal is not defined in the OBlocks table, then the warrant will not see it" is that the same as placing the signal at a portal?
Is there anyway for Warrants to allocate only one block ahead? A train two blocks ahead would be protected by two signals. My way of thinking is that the following train should respond as follow (assuming it is currently in Block 1);
- Block 2 has a yellow (caution) signal for which it should slow whist continuing into the Block 2.
- Block 3 signal will likely be at red (stop) but depending on what that train ahead is doing it could change to yellow if it sped up or green (say if it entered a siding and cleared the turnout), also the block is cleared quicker if it is much shorter.
I assume the three block allocation would prevent the train from proceeding even into Block 1, let alone continue into Block 2 even though it should be able to at caution and potentially able to enter Block 3.?
