Java appears to be working ok.
You should have a session.log file at ~/Library/Preferences/JMRI/log. ?Attach that in a reply.

Hi,
I tried entering the program from DecoderPro and you are right, I forgot to say that I got the dialog to establish a connection. ?However, the program still just dies after I select the profile. If it were not finding java, would it have even got that far?
