So, I feel the need to respond about what I "suggested"...

I did indeed write...

When using schedules, it is important to provide the destination

But I also wrote the rest of that sentence (left out of my quoted text)...?

IF you intend to have the loads go somewhere specific.

In other words, Dennis, I was trying to suggest that you might want to alter your schedule to point the loads of <Cement> to distinct locations to help them "Route" through Edgerton.

In fact, I also laid out how the program might try to route cars without a destination...

Anytime a car is encountered by the program with a custom load and NO destination, it will try to...

1. Find a Spur with a schedule that calls for that custom load.? If multiple matches are found, it will use the Spur with the lowest Track move count that can accept the car.

2. If no Spur can be found, it will try next to send the car to Staging.? For this to be successful, the Staging track must allow the car-type and load and a Route must exist to get it there.

3. Failing to find a Spur or Staging track to which the car can be sent, the program will try to move the car anywhere served by the train being built, checking each successive location on that train's Route "downstream" of the car's original location.

In either case (with Destination or without), the schedule is not what moves the car along, but rather can provide a sense of directed movement.? The fullness of the Edgerton yard tracks (revealed in the more detailed build report) is what I was hinting might be preventing the cars from getting moved from Elk Grove when I wrote...

I would take a look at the receiving tracks in Edgerton and make sure there is room for any returning inbound traffic.

And it is exactly this reason that Dan highlighted in BOLD from your buld report, as to what is preventing movement...

I was attempting to be of assistance without the knowledge of all the details of you setup.? I can paint a fuller picture now that you have provided the new build report and offer other hints as to how to the mechanisms of the program can be employed, but ultimately I think you are already leaning to the solution when you wrote...

I have other trains later in the schedule that will be removing some of the cars on the other tracks, so I'll see if running this train later in the schedule will work out.
