The port can be whatever you want it to be as long as it isn't one already being used by JMRI or any other application running. Avoid using 12090, 12080, 2048, and whatever others JMRI fancies. Up to you. Just make sure that the one you use is defined in the sketch and in the JMRI network interface connection.
