I having trouble modifying an xml file. Probably because I don't know
what I'm doing. Both of my Windows programs (98 first and second edition,
different computers) will open the files. My second edition comes up with
an error message but opens the file anyway. But when I change the data
(simple changes) and put that file back into DecoderPro it won't open the
programmer. I can put the old file back and everything is ok.
The file I am trying to change is the TCS_Tx.xml file as there are some
minor problems. In the lights (CV's 49 & 50) it shows forward for both
choices. Also the default for CV 50 is 16 not 1. I would guess the first
problem would effect CV's 51 and 52 also (T2 decoder, four function) but I'm
working with a T1.
I think somehow my wonderful Windows is not saving the xml file
correctly but I have no idea how to make it save correctly!
