There has been a lot of traffic on both Digitrax and JMRI. And of course, others that I'm not aware of. About connecting to JMRI with Windows 10. But I see similarity between the questions re. SPROG, PR3/4 & LocoBuffer. Apparently they all have trouble. And from what I can gather, the cure or fix is in Windows and appears to be the same fix. Disable the driver download from the Device Manager and install the driver direct from the source. So what I'm opening up here is "why don't someone write a simple step by step solution that can be in the Files". And whenever a newbie tries to connect to Windows 10, simply refer them to that file and stop all this traffic on the forums that seem to repeat themselves. If I'm wrong about the solution being the same for all/SPROG,PR3/4,LocoBuffer and/or any other, then I apologize for this. I'm new to JMRI and can only state what has been said many times.
