If the problem is not ports sleeping, or computer sleeping, then more information is needed as Billybob pointed out.? I remember that scripts have been an issue when "stalling" because an endless loop keeps the computer busy.? If there are scripts running on that computer, that might be an important piece of information for troubleshooting.
