The JMRI on the newer computer is JMRI 4.17.6 and the newer Operating system is MAC OS 10.13.3
The preferences directory on the newer computer is:
/users/username/Library/Preferences/JMRI/My_JMRI_Railroad/
Since you are moving between two similar Mac computers, you would probably be better off copying the entire Settings directory from the old to the new. On all Mac computers it is:
/users/username/Library/Preferences/JMRI/
That should be fine unless you have manually changed the User Files Location and/or the Roster Location to somewhere outside the Settings Location (you can check that on the old computer).
