You don¡¯t need anything in your roster to fun a loco from WiThrottle. ?You just enter the address as you would on the Powercab and run it. ?However, if a roster entry exists, WiThrottle will use it to annotate function buttons, but that¡¯s all entirely optional. ?If you have the Powercab already connected to JMRI, start the WiThrottle server in JMRI, download and install WiThrottle, connect to the JMRI computer (note Conrad's recent firewall issues) and get running.
