Yes I understand that Inobu is trying to help with Larry¡¯s issue but Inobu is suggesting this is due to NCE issues.
The same NCE components are not causing hundreds of other NCE users like myself, after the Jumpers etc have been set up in a computer running JMRI.
?
Larry has previously successfully used his NCE components using a Laptop/Desktop but cannot get ¡°connected¡± with Widows 10.
I understand that Larry¡¯s issue maybe with Jumpers/settings/Drivers but Larry tried using one of Steve Todd¡¯s Raspberry Pis, hence his original query.
Inobu is suggesting there are time delays/problems with NCE and a ¡°workaround¡± by disconnecting/reconnecting Cables.
?
None of ¡°us¡± are having to do this but we¡¯re NOT using a Raspberry Pi.
?
That¡¯s why I asked Inobu to use his setup using a Laptop/JMRI to test for operation, hence test his components.
?
I agree and have asked for System Console ¡°logs¡± posted in a message to the Group.
?
Once again Marc, I thank you for all your help here.
Inobu is not encountering any issue with the Powercab and RPI4.. He was simply trying to help LARRY ( from a different thread )? who reported his issue with this, same,? setup.
Inobu? was reporting? the condition he discovered while trouble shooting the issue using the Steve Todd supplied? RPI4 image and Powercab/NCE USB setup.
Seems like in many cases it is a question of JUMPERS being set wrong.?
Providing the System Console Log should be a prereq in ALL CASES? people reported.
