Thanks for that video and the recently-posted logs.

That light pattern; repeated cycling of USB LED on for 20 seconds and off for 10 seconds, with no activity on Cab Bus LED is the classic sign of a baud rate mismatch between the USB section CP2102 UART ?(rate set by JMRI and the SiLabs driver) and the microprocessor UART (rate set by reading jumpers at startup).

The presence of one or more "WARN? - timeout flushes receive buffer: xx ..." messages in the log is also the classic sign of a baud-rate mismatch communication rather than a no-reply or lockup situation.

The possible error situations are:
1) On the computer USB side, where the JMRI/RPi SiLabs driver combination is not setting the CP2102 UART correctly.

2) On the microprocessor side, where the read-jumpers, set microprocessor UART on power-up routine is going wrong. That is known to happen if you have intermittent jumper contacts or a circuit board fault.

Do you get any problem with the V6 9600 all OFF? That combination should also ?work fine with a V6 board.
