What do you mean by "I cannot paste (the url) into the "Import URL" option in DP¡±?
If you select ¡°Import Decoder URL¡¡±, it shows a dialog with a place to enter text labeled ¡°URL to import:". That¡¯s where you should put the URL you want to download, i.e.
If you can¡¯t copy and paste it (which would be a Windows issue, not a JMRI one), then try typing it in.

No where on the page that leads you there () does it state how to copy, save as, etc. an xml file to your computer. When I click on the file it opens, but when I copy the url, first, I cannot paste it into the "Import URL" option in DP, nor can I "Save As". I tried copying selected text and pasted into MS Word, then renamed as an xml file, but DP then reports that it is not a valid xml file. Why so complicated?
Honestly, I'd rather not update the whole JMRI/DP program please.
