SoundValue decoders are based on the first gen? Tsunami decoders and all Digitrax systems had problems programing them.
The addition of a Soundtraxx PTB-100 was suggested.
One work around with the Zephyr was to use it in BLAST mode. This was not documented in the DCS50 but is documented in?
the DCS51 manual and applies to both DCS50 and DCS51: OPSW 07=blast mode.
The layout must be disconnected while in BLAST mode as programming is sent out on all track ouputs: prog and main.
The safer option is the PTB-100
