You've done great work and I want to thank you for all you've done! I used to blog under "The Basement Railroader" a while back and wrote about how to get JMRI + Sprog3 going on an RPi in the first place. You've done far more than I could have ever imagined and I thank you. (Blog is long gone unfortunately, as it got hacked and I had no way to recover it.)
I reset my router and that didn't do anything. However, I uninstalled Engine Driver on my phone, then deleted the engine_driver folder that is made somewhere in the root system. Then reinstalled Engine Driver and that worked perfectly so far on my Macbook! (really a misnomer as it's running Linux Mint) I think maybe over the years of having so many different configurations and IP addresses and railroad names, that something in there was messing it up. Just a guess. We'll see what tomorrow brings.
I'm going to just start from scratch on my Pi image, so I'll test that out tomorrow. An image of your RPi-JMRI worked perfectly as well. I'll definitely look at disabling ipv6 if it comes to it. I recall that being a requirement a while back.
