I found a vendor who has built a WiFi set of modules that can be installed in a battery powered locomotive. His software outputs to an Ethernet network router that connects wireless to his WiFi modules.
It has been awhile since I looked at JMRI so my question has anyone built an interface that outputs Ethernet protocols to a router from Windows 10 computers rather than to COM ports and LOCO-Net?
If there is then I can control my outdoor railroad using radio controlled, battery powered locomotives and accessories and I don't have to get DCC from the rails.
