If you check the log carefully:
- There are no bad characters flushed except at the very end*. This indicates probably not a baud rate issue.
- After 11 minutes of trying, a connection was finally established, just after a bad characters flush. This strongly indicates a bad connection that suddenly came good as the next attempt succeeded.
