Yes and No.
It will not run into other auto-dispatched trains, or manual driven trains that have been dispatched and the driver is obeying all signals, or a manually run train that is being very carefully and thoughtfully driven.
How ever, a manually driven train that blows thru a red light into a section allocated to an autotrain will be run into.
