No. JMRI routes set JMRI Turnouts to a specific direction. There¡¯s no need to create a workaround to do that, that¡¯s what they should already be doing.
If you¡¯re not getting consistent operation between the JMRI Turnout and the physical layout turnout, you should fix that first instead of creating a workaround. (If you¡¯re using JMRI Sensors to control physical layout turnouts, you should fix that even before)
