I'm currently using a 10+ year old HP laptop, running Windows 10, and have no problems running DecoderPro or PanelPro.? My point being, as others have hinted at, don't think you need something new and shiny.? As long as it can support the operating system and has the necessary USB or serial ports you need, it doesn't need the latest and greatest - older machines in good shape or refurbished will work as needed.? Just don't expect it to be quite as quick as a new machine.
