Thank you. As I received your message, I was away out to celebrate my Polish Christmas Eve with a traditional meal with my daughters and their families.?

As I am now back in "normal"mode (appreciating everyone else is celebrating Christmas in their own way), I had another look.

I had already downloaded JMRI 4.14 and have tried it with setup - Lenz Compact/LIUSB/Win10.

Again Session Logs iterate the same error/warning messages (copy/paste):

As I have said previously , Default preferences do not allow Internal settings (all such radio buttons are geryed out), everything is defaulted to XpressNet.

Further,? XpressNet/XpressNet system Information shows correct information except that Interface item is blank:

• Satus:??? Normal Operations
• Interface:
• Hardware Version:??? 1.1
• Software Version:??? 10

Again, as I have said before, everything seems to work as expected, despite the Error/Warning messages in the session log ( I? can control locos using Throttles, control Turnouts, etc)

I am just intrigued why this is happening.

The annoying part is that when I open JMRI, I have to wait for JMRI to check things, give me an error message:

System connection XpressNet provides a null manager for interface CommandStation Unable to to run startup due to earlier failures.?? Please check logs for more details. The Preferences window will open so this can be fixed.

Tom,

Since we just released the 4.14 version, you should try with it. There has
been a fair bit of work on that system connection, plus work to prevent the
Default = Internal issue.
