The terminology has gone this way and that over the years, and there is simply nothing that suits all. It is what it is, and there is no other option than to get used to how JMRI works. Don't forget that every attempt to change the words used confuse the heck out of existing users. Personally, I'd fight another cchange tooth and nail, unless it were a change in the actual data model that would better match with how people are used to thinking because of other software. But in all honesty, I hope that never happens either.

I agree with Don. Although I have figured out the secret by experimentation, the terminology used to delete, save, hide, etc panels is very confusing....especially to someone new to JRMI panels. Suggest that the menu terms be expanded to reflect actual meaning since "delete" really means "delete from current panel session".
