Set up your consists on your Power Cab according to the NCE consisting rules (see below). Then use a JMRI Throttle to select the Lead or Rear loco (never the consist address), just as you should with your Power Cab. All will be well with the JMRI throttle - the routing of speed and function commands will be handled at the NCE command station level and JMRI doesn't need to know about the consist. Since you are using an NCE system you need to read this document, which explains advanced consisting as handled by NCE systems: <> P.S. There is no problem with consist address 127 on any NCE system. There is a problem with consist address 100 on a Power Pro system. Valid consist addresses on various NCE systems are: - Power Pro 1-127. - Power Cab 112-127. - SB3/5 112-127. NCE philosophy is that you should always let the command station pick the consist address and that you never need to remember/use it. All subsequent operations (adding to, removing, breaking up) can be addressed to the lead or rear loco numbers, as should all speed, direction and function commands. Telling JMRI about the NCE consist address will lead to grief. There is an NCE Edit Consist tool in JMRI. It used to work with the Power Pro, but my memory is that it got broken when a developer was trying to modify it to suit the Power Cab as well. I can't remember its current status. Better to use the Power/Pro Cab. -- Dave in Australia On 21 Dec 2018, at 11:21 PM, CMMR <peneltons@...> wrote: |
