Hello Bob.
Well. switching tracks was literally that.. I tried to throw a turnout so the loco would change physical tracks.
Clearly.. I broke some stuff...
I since reverted back to 4.8. Everything ran as expected. I then made a backup JMRI folder and installed 4.12 with the recommended instructions, into the existing folder. It took a little coaxing, but I am up and running with generally much better performance than 4.8. I have train and turnout control.. although there were some irregularities getting there..
1 - I have to switch power on and off to the track several times from WiThrottle or JMRI Throttles to ensure I have communication to anything on the track. Weird.. but it's reliable after that.?
2 - I cannot launch JMRI Web Server.. instantly crashes JMRI. It's a bummer, because I would REALLY like to run WiThrottle and Web Service for different things. It throws an error message and closes JMRI.?
System Console is clean.. no warnings or errors.?
The next time I reboot I will do a better job to capture that error message.
Pierre.
