A couple of points.
1. If you get a red X or non-icon on the panel, that means the sensor or
turnout has not been set. Meaning it is UNKNOWN, so no icon. So it seems
that you would need to have the 'start of day' complete this. But I'd first
get the Logix right, that may clear up the issue.
2. The Logix for the feather needs to have both the signal aspect AND
turnout position as conditions. In your case, I'd test for turnout THROWN
AND signal aspect not STOP. The action would then be set feather ON for
true, and set feather OFF for false.
