Locked Re: uncaught exception at start of JMRI

The Headless exception indicates that a graphical display is not available. Are you using the GNOME (Fedora workstation default) desktop?

I have just install JMRI 4.4 on another computer. It is running openjdk

connected. It has the monitor connected with a VGA cable to a Nvidia
GeForce 8400 video card using the Nouveau driver.

I am unable to get JMRI to start. I get the following in the session log:

What could be causing this?
