Okay, wait a minute. When I first started reading the column at
<>, I
was upset and prepared to take arms. After reading the entire column,
however, I concede the man's point.
After all, this is the same Apple that put the screws on the school district
where I work, all because we went with a third-party lease instead of the
Apple lease to buy all our equipment. IMHO, as long as we're willing to
spend tens of thousands of dollars on Macintosh computers, Apple should be
nice to us. Sure they also wanted the lease and that interest money too, but
oh well, then they should have offered better terms. Yet since Apple lost
the lease, they were - well for a lack of a better word - rude to us, at a
time when we were spending $35,000 on their products (and spent over $20,000
last year, and who knows how much next year).
I think I'm going to write the author and tell him that I see his point and,
unfortunately, have to agree with him.
