Do any of the Mac Studio port sleep?

开云体育

I have a Mac Studio (2022) M1 Max running Ventura 13.4.1. I have these little USB driven speakers for that have a blue light. I would love for these to go to sleep when my monitors do.

The primary monitor is an LG HDR 4K Display (27-inch)
The secondary monitor is an HP 23er Display (23-inch)

Can any of the ports go to sleep? I have tried searching and only seem to find references to laptops or ports that shouldn't be asleep.

Many thanks!
Leslie

Do you ultimately just want to hide the blue light? You could try?.

I had thought of that but I like them I'm working but I'd rather they turn off when I've walked away from my desk.

I just use black electrician’s tape over the check engine light in my car.

Does either display support auto power off? I don’t know if that’s a think but that’s the only way I can think of when the speaker is connected to the display.

Yeah, I have that over the bright green LED power light on my cable box in the bedroom. That little light is right at eye level....

It’s not the perfect solution but a different approach is to get LED dimming stickers to place over the light source so that they’re not as intense. Search for “LED dimming sheet” or “LED dimming sticker” or “light diffusion sheet” for examples.
