ic-7000 settings for data modes

I've connected the radio to my laptop, via a rigblaster advantage and am using Ham Radio Deluxe for rig.? control.? FT8 is decoding fine. Just wondered if there are any settings on the actual radio that I need to configure,? to ensure a good receive and transmit signal. Info on this is sparse on the Internet?? Apologies if this topic has already been covered.?

Barron Member Profile All Messages By This Member #42444 As I remember (and I could have this backwards) in digital the front mike on the head is muted so that your noise in the shack will not be transmitted, but the other mike jack is not. The IC-7000 is what I had when I got back into ham radio 5 years ago and it works great on Ft-8.
