I have an issue with? =the display on my unit and hope somebody can give me some incite.? I have had my 7000 for a couple of years now.? A month or so ago, while operating all of a sudden every time I transmitted my screen got "wavy."? As soon as I stopped transmitting the display went back to normal.? I did a hard reset and it seemed to fix the problem.? Last weekend I had the exact same experience?but this? time doing a hard reset did not correct the problem.? I tried my radio in a couple of other modes and the same thing happened.? Transmit = wavy display.? Not transmitting = wavy display.? My guess is that there is some stray RF getting into my radio but I don't know if that is correct or if it is, what could be causing it.? There are not any new electronics or electrical systems/sources in my home.? Everything is the way it always has been.? Any assistance that?anyone could be provide would be much appreciated.?
