Is there a way to send CW on the 7000 via software like FLDIGI, WinWarbler, etc? ?I thought I have seen that some will send a ¡°tone¡± via SSB, but is there a way to send a true CW signal out while using the computer to type out the message, or do I need some other components between my computer, Signalink USB, and he rig? ?

Well, one could argue what "true CW" is.? Afterall, keying a tone into a SSB radio is the same thing, except that the first IF is at audio frequencies, and the first mixer is image rejecting. :)? The real difference between using CW and SSB mode on the radio will actually be on receive, because different filters will be available.

That out of the way, to send computer generated CW in CW mode, you need an additional keying signal, and a connection to the KEY jack on the radio, and the software needs to be able to toggle a spare line on a serial port to generate the keying signal, or if the software will only send tones, you need to generate the keying signal from the audio - diode detector, smoothing cap (not too large value) and a comparator, or even a single transistor (if there's enough voltage to turn it on) should do it.
