Re: IC-7000 external video display
Yes, that's it Lynn. Chosen on the basis of all the commentary and the fact that it runs on 12v. Nice color picture. 73, Larry

Re: IC-7000 external video display
I had one of those cheap 7" TFT video displays in a box for years and finally connected it to the IC-7000. The colors are not there, it shows up white text only. Also, it is slowly scrolling down

Re: IC-7000 external video display
Thanks, Kees, I just set it to "2".? The width on the external display became slightly less wide.? It's still distorted relative to the internal display, but less so. Cheers, Halden VE7UTS

Re: IC-7000 external video display
In display set mode No19, you can choose 1 or 2. You have to choose 2 because it is a 4:3 composite video signal. It works fine for me on a 7 inch monitor. (with black areas on the sides.) 73s, Kees

Re: L604, L612, L904 setpoints
Swr check can be done with two dummy loads connected by a tee piece, to make 25 ohms. Keep the cable lengths the same especially at UHF. At UHF every 1mm is 1 degree of phase. On top band no issues

Ok, so¡¡turns out, user error. I learned a lot and had some realizations while I was typing this email to tell you what my readings were. It left out what frequency to set the signal generator to,

Re: Power Output Meter Reading Low
I have and its fine, still shows 100w on all HF and 6m, just the power level on the radio drops one bar to just below 100% just a strange one, it has no affect on the output power at all Adrian

Re: Power Output Meter Reading Low
Hi Al I know this is an old thread did you ever get to the bottom of this, one of my 7000s shows something similar but only on 10m, its 100w on HF and 6m no problems at all but on 10m, the power bar

Re: L604, L612, L904 setpoints
Thank you so much Andrew for jumping in. My CMU200 can set the output down low enough. How do you minimize leakage for the WFM adjustments? I am going to double check with the oscilloscope when I get

Re: Upside-down display on external monitor
It¡¯s probably a setting on the monitor to allow you to hang it from above. See if there is a menu setting to flip vertical. 73 David W4OFO

Re: Upside-down display on external monitor
Just in case I was unclear in my initial message, the display on my IC-7000 is rightside-up. It is the display on the external monitor that is upside-down. VY 73 de W3UECSteve
