Are you referencing the 2 tant caps on the display board? ?Those were the first things replaced because they were replaced before at some point with much smaller capacitors.

As far as we know radio was working fine up until my grandfather crashed his Saturn. ?We suspect the crash cause a voltage spike that caused the failure. ?Can’t figure out any other source.
